Koder house is a three-storey heritage boutique hotel opposite the beach at fort kochi, kerala, india. until recently, it belonged to the most illustrious cochin jewish family, the koders. this house had been a host to presidents, prime ministers, viceroys, ambassadors, nobel laureates, hollywood directors and prominent dignitaries. this dwelling also finds a prominent place on intach’s list of heritage sites, and a visit to fort kochi is considered to be incomplete without a visit to this historic site.

Each suite is 800 Sqft. and is individually designed and decorated and the centuries old building boasts 20,000 square feet of spectacular teak floors, ceilings and stairways. The unique quality of Koder House is the amalgamation of the intimate atmosphere and quality service in a spectacular and spacious building that has been restored to reflect its celebrated past.

The three-storey building boasts two large suites on each floor, each pair served by a dedicated valet. Each suite has its own distinctive style and decor and comprises a bedroom, desk, television, large dressing/lounging area and luxurious bathroom with a spa bath and separate shower cubicle. Four of the six suites also have a balcony overlooking the Chinese fishing nets, channel and park that forms the heart of Fort Kochi's family-orientated community.

The ground floor houses a multi-cuisine restaurant serving a wide-ranging menu, from traditional Keralan curries to Penne Arabiatta, along with speciality seafood and Chinese menus. Behind the restaurant is an outdoor lounging area and swimming pool. A grand teak double staircase leads to the first floor, where guests will find a large lounge and the in-house 'Serena Spa', offering a range of massages and treatments.

On the second floor there is a business centre with broadband Internet, Library, Beer 'n' Wine Lounge with a central balcony.
